No file storage

Folia does not store your PDF bank statements or the CSV output we generate. Files are processed entirely in memory inside an AWS Lambda function and discarded immediately after your CSV is returned. Nothing is written to disk or stored in a database.

Data processed in Canada

All file processing runs in the ca-central-1 AWS region (Montréal, Canada). Your data never leaves Canadian infrastructure. Folia is compliant with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we do store

We retain only the metadata necessary to provide the service and display your processing history:

Filename
Page count
Transaction count
Upload timestamp
Processing status

No financial data, account numbers, or transaction details are stored.

Account data

We store your name, email address, and company name to operate your account. Billing is handled by Stripe; we do not store payment card details. Authentication is handled by Auth0.
